Our Mission
Our mission is to combat the Sustainable Development Goal – Zero Hunger
With the slogan “Feed for change” Hasil Foundation aims to address the food insecurity issue in Pakistan. We provide nutritious, healthy food to malnourished, underprivileged families, primarily widows, orphans, and the unwell living in the urban slums, and to school-going children belonging to low-income households.
We dream of a Pakistan where no one sleeps hungry.

Healthy Food, Healthy Kids Project
Hasil Foundation’s Healthy Food, Healthy Kids project addresses two urgent challenges in Pakistan—child malnutrition and low school attendance—by providing students with nutritious meals that support their health, growth, and ability to learn. Following physical assessments of the children, a certified nutritionist developed a tailored meal plan that includes a boiled egg and a glass of milk each morning, followed by a freshly prepared lunch at school. During the three-month pilot phase, students recorded an average growth of one centimetre, while teachers observed that previously tired and disengaged children became more active, energetic, and eager to learn. The programme has also contributed to improved school attendance, demonstrating how proper nutrition can help children thrive both physically and academically.
Ramzan Project
Hasil Foundation’s Ramzan Project, launched in 2010, provides essential food support to vulnerable families during the Muslim month of fasting. Preparations begin four months before Ramzan, when specialised teams conduct door-to-door surveys to identify and prioritise people most in need, particularly women of childbearing age, orphans, older people, and those who are unwell. Selected beneficiaries receive identification tokens to ensure an organised and transparent distribution process. With the continued generosity of donors and dedication of its team, the project has grown from feeding 300 people per day in 2010 to supporting 5,000 people per day in 2025 through prepared meals and ration packs.
